Some images from my trip to Auckland’s Piha Beach today:
The image above of a partially buried feather was probably my favourite shot but it makes me feel a bit sad for some unknown reason.
As you can see from the following pictures there weren’t too many people about today.
The tide was right out and the big storms of yesterday had left a lot of foam on the sand.
The bad weather also seemed to leave some of the sand banks looking as though they weren’t far from collapsing.
Piha is such a beautiful place, your pictures really capture that! 🙂

It has such a different character depending on what the weather is doing. It was nice to be out getting sandblasted by the wind for a few hours!
